Environmental, social and governance (ESG) at Axplora
We put sustainability at the heart of our strategy — protecting people, patients, and the planet while building trust with customers, employees, and partners.
Our ESG commitment
Axplora’s ESG program drives coordinated action across all sites, focusing on four priorities: health and safety, climate action, resource efficiency and social responsibility. We set measurable targets, track performance and report transparently.
Health and safety
Our goal is zero accidents. We monitor site-level safety metrics and reinforce a prevention culture through QHSE Days, training programs, and leadership walk-throughs. In 2025, these initiatives reduced lost-time incidents by 21%.
Climate and energy
We are accelerating our decarbonization roadmap with a 2030 near-term target submitted to SBTi. Today, 100% of our French sites run on renewable electricity, and we target to extend this to all global operations by 2030. This transition is also supported by flow chemistry and electrochemistry energy-efficient processes.
Waste and water
Sustainability is designed into every process. By applying Process Mass Intensity (PMI) from early development, we minimize resource use. Our 3R approach (Recycle, Reuse, Revalorize) treats waste as a resource, reducing environmental impact. Since 2022, we have cut process water consumption by 11%.
Diversity and inclusion
Diversity strengthens our ability to innovate. Our Executive Committee represents nine nationalities, reflecting our global footprint. In 2025, women accounted for 23% of our workforce and 24% of management roles, with senior leadership representation rising from 21% to 28% in 2025.
Supplier responsibility
We select suppliers who share our ESG values. Through our Supplier Code of Conduct, we ensure fair labor practices, ethical business conduct and environmental stewardship because responsible sourcing is essential to reducing our collective footprint.
